Inspired by Celtic Symbols & Irish Heritage

Our keepsake jewellery is deeply inspired by Ireland's rich heritage and the timeless symbolism found throughout Celtic tradition. We draw on meaningful designs such as Celtic Knots, Trinity Knots, Celtic Crosses, Ogham and the Tree of Life to create jewellery that represents enduring love, connection, family, strength and remembrance. Each symbol carries its own story and meaning, allowing our keepsakes to become more than beautiful pieces of jewellery, they become personal expressions of the bonds we share and the memories we hold close. By combining these ancient Irish inspired symbols with contemporary jewellery design and thoughtful personalisation, we create distinctive memorial keepsakes that honour the past while becoming treasured pieces for generations to come.

Celtic Knot

Celtic Knots are among the most recognisable symbols of Irish and Celtic heritage, celebrated for their intricate, interwoven patterns and enduring symbolism. Their continuous lines, with no clear beginning or end, are commonly associated with eternity, everlasting love, connection and the unbroken bonds between people. Found throughout historic Celtic art, manuscripts, stone carvings and traditional designs, these timeless patterns have continued to inspire generations. At Eiremento, we draw on this rich heritage to create meaningful cremation keepsake jewellery, using Celtic Knot designs to represent the enduring connections we share with those we love and the memories that remain with us always.

Ogham

Ogham is one of Ireland's earliest forms of written language, believed to date from around the 4th century and traditionally associated with the early Irish and Celtic world. Recognised by its distinctive groups of lines and notches arranged along a central stem line, Ogham was used to record names and inscriptions, particularly on ancient standing stones throughout Ireland and Britain. Today, Ogham carries a strong connection to Irish heritage, identity and ancestry, making it especially meaningful when used to represent a person's name or a treasured message. At Eiremento, we incorporate Ogham into our keepsake jewellery as a discreet and deeply personal way to connect modern remembrance with Ireland's ancient past, creating pieces that carry both personal meaning and a sense of enduring heritage.

Celtic Cross

The Celtic Cross is a timeless symbol of Irish heritage, faith, love and enduring connection. With its beautifully interwoven Celtic details and distinctive circle, it carries a sense of eternity and the unbroken bonds that remain long after someone we love has passed. For this reason, the Celtic Cross holds a particularly special place in memorial jewellery. A small amount of your loved one's ashes can be held within the pendant, creating a deeply personal keepsake that allows you to carry their memory close to your heart each day. At Eiremento, our Celtic Cross keepsakes bring together the beauty of Ireland's heritage with the comfort of remembrance—a meaningful symbol of faith, love and the connection that can never be broken.

Tree of Life

Newgrange Triskele Cremation Ashes Pendant

Newgrange

Newgrange is one of Ireland's most extraordinary ancient monuments, a place where mystery, craftsmanship and the changing seasons have been intertwined for more than 5,000 years. Built around 3200 BC, the passage tomb at Brú na Bóinne is famously aligned with the rising sun at the winter solstice, when sunlight enters through the roof box and illuminates the inner chamber. The beautiful spiral carvings found throughout Newgrange are among its most recognisable features. Their exact meaning remains unknown, which is part of their enduring mystery, but they are thought to have held profound significance for the people who created them. The flowing spiral is often associated today with ideas of movement, cycles, eternity and the journey through life, making it a particularly fitting symbol for a keepsake. At Eiremento, we draw inspiration from these ancient Irish carvings to create Newgrange inspired jewellery that connects a modern remembrance with Ireland's distant past, a timeless reminder that life, love and memory continue in an endless circle.

Burren

The Burren in County Clare is a place unlike anywhere else in Ireland—a landscape of weathered limestone pavements, hidden valleys, wildflowers and ancient stone, shaped over hundreds of millions of years. Its distinctive limestone was formed in warm tropical seas during the Carboniferous period and has since been sculpted by ice, rain and time into the remarkable landscape we see today.

Yet beneath its rugged appearance lies an extraordinary sense of life and history, from its unique collection of plants to the ancient monuments and communities that have called the Burren home for thousands of years. At Eiremento, we take inspiration from this captivating landscape for our Burren collection, capturing the natural textures and quiet beauty of the limestone in jewellery designed to feel timeless, personal and enduring.
